The Group is run by our Group Scout Leader and he is assisted by the 3 Section Leaders and their assistants. All our uniformed Leaders work towards the Scout Association's 'Wood Badge'. Leader training is of vital importance and is openly encouraged at 4th Camberley. The 'Wood Badge' signifies successful completion of the required training. That said, in order to maintain high standards of professionalism and expertise, training is never completed and continues through workshops and seminars. All Adult Leaders in the Scout Association are UNPAID volunteers and are nearly always parents who have taken up the chance of Leadership to be part of their child's growing-up or have been members of the Association and possibly the Group as a Beaver, Cub or Scout, and who then wish to pass on to younger children the expertise and pleasure that they have derived from Scouting. Have you ever thought of being a Leader within the Scout Association? If you're aged between 18 and 65, contact us for further information or e-mail us.
